Dr. Ahmed Nagy is a cardiologist at UK HealthCare, specializing in electrophysiology and heart rhythm disorders. He obtained his medical degree from the Faculty of Medicine at Ain Shams University in Cairo, Egypt. Dr. Nagy relocated to the U.S. and received advanced medical training at Texas Heart Institute, SUNY Upstate, University of Louisville, University of Loyola, Boston Children’s Hospital, and Massachusetts General Hospital. He completed a post-doctoral fellowship at Massachusetts General Hospital, Harvard University. Dr. Nagy joined Internal Medicine residency, followed by fellowships in Cardiovascular Disease and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, at the University of Massachusetts.
Dr. Nagy is board-certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease and specializes in cardiac electrophysiology, with a particular focus on atrial fibrillation, ablation technologies, and left atrial appendage occlusion.
